Challenge Yourself!
The Buckhead Business Association Leadership Development Program (LDP) will accelerate your personal leadership journey.
The BBA Leadership Development Program, which was founded in 1990, focuses on helping high-potential community members become stronger, more integrated leaders, so they improve the quality of life for themselves, their families, their co-workers and the volunteer organizations they serve.
We are different from other leadership programs because we emphasize self-analysis, skill development and practice — essentially, “learning by doing.” The success of our methods can be seen in our graduates who now hold leadership positions in companies and organizations across Atlanta.
The LDP classes include two weekend retreats and numerous half-day monthly meetings. Class members practice what they learn by serving as a facilitator for one monthly meeting the year following their class year. Individual class themes include, but are not limited to: values, ethics, contentment, mastering change, simplicity, mentoring and legacy.
The application process is easy
Many of our class members are drawn from those who work, live or play in Buckhead. We also actively seek participants who represent the diverse communities throughout metro Atlanta. Class members are chosen through a highly competitive and in-depth selection process based on leadership experience, community involvement and essay responses.
We are accepting nominations for the 2008-2009 class. To nominate someone, e-mail the nominee’s name, mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address and your name, phone number and e-mail address to Chris Chan at chris.chan@sablaw.com or call 404-853-8049. Selections are made on a blind basis to ensure objective consideration and compliance with our privacy policy.
